Application Information
- Applicants only need to apply to the fund once — the committee will allocate the award from the appropriate standalone bursary.
- Payments are made directly to the institution for the winter term (January).
- Applicants will be notified in August.
- Amount of award will be based on available funds, number of applicants, and financial need.
Who Qualifies?
A Bursary is a grant of money to an individual in financial need. To qualify for a Rotary Bursary Endowment Fund bursary the applicant must:
- Be a resident of Gravenhurst (even if attending school in a different town).
- Be furthering their education at a post-secondary level (university, college, trade school, etc.) leading to a degree, diploma, or certificate.
- Show a financial need.
Available Awards
The endowment fund supports over 20 named bursaries, with awards ranging from $1,000 to over $8,000. These are made possible by the generous support of our donors.
